Dear Morning,

Give it a little elbow grease.

Hebrews 4:12

Before we continue with Jehoshaphat’s story, I want to back up to our over-arching “sing a new song” that has been our theme for the year.

Dear Morning,

You’re sweeter than a toasted pastry.

Genesis 16:13

Two weeks ago, I did a barre class on the beach. My legs shook like leaves in a brisk autumn wind and, eventually, felt like lead, refusing to move. But still, I forced them. Lifting and turning and standing and squatting to the rhythm of the perfectly-timed music and the background rhythm of the waves. Read more
